The Harvester is a mid-range true overdrive with a ‘High Gain’ option that is controlled with a toggle switch. The standard settings allow for a rich and textured break-up of your clean signal with the tone section of the circuit split into Bass and Treble controls so you can dial in your precision sound. At lower drive settings, the Harvester lends to a more subtle and transparent overdrive and conversely, you can get a thicker ‘wall of sound’ with the drive at higher settings. With the ‘High Gain’ toggle turned on, multiple dynamics are engaged in the circuit. First, your guitar’s natural highs are added back into the signal path giving you a more full range feel. Second, the signal is further clipped giving your ‘drive’ control more grit, texture and distortion and lastly, the signal is boosted which accelerates the natural break-up of the amplifier.
